Search and Highlight Text in PDF For Free

Choose Edit > Find (Ctrl/Command+F). Type the text you want to search for in the text box on the Find toolbar. To replace text, click Replace With to expand the toolbar, then type the replacement text in the Replace With text box.

Click on the search bar located at the top right corner of the screen. Type in the keyword or phrase you want to search for. Press Enter or click on the search icon to start the search. will automatically highlight all instances of the searched text within the document.

Click and drag the cursor to select the area of text you want to highlight. A small toolbox will appear above your text. Select the highlighter tool icon and it will automatically highlight your selected text. To modify, click on the highlighted area, and a new toolbox will appear.

Sometimes, scanned images are bundled and merged into a PDF file. Such a file can be described as a scanned PDF. They differ from standard PDFs in that editing them is usually not possible. If you cannot highlight or select text in a PDF, the file might probably be a scanned copy and cannot be edited.

Open any PDFs hosted on the web and click the Glasp icon at the top right. It refreshes the page and allows you to start highlighting. When you select a sentence, you can see a popup showing up, so please click any color you want. Tips: If you click the Glasp icon on a PDF, you can see a menu below.
