Make edits directly to your PDF forms To do so, open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat, then click on the Edit PDF tool in the toolbar on the right. When you're in form editing mode, you can make several types of changes to the PDF file. You can edit text, alter a field name, or add new text and fillable fields.

If you edit your CF7 form, you will see an additional tag called ?Conditional fields Group?. Everything you put between the start and end tag will be hidden by default. After you have added the field group(s), go to the ?Conditional fields? tab to create one or more conditions that will make the group(s) appear.

Field conditions You can set up conditions to allow various fields to interact with each other. A condition allows you to either Show or Hide that field when the condition values are met. This condition can be a single event (check a single check box for example).

On the General tab, click the Form Field drop-down arrow and choose Hidden.

Conditional fields allow you to manage sets of dependencies between fields. Such fields are available for editing and display only if the right condition is met. To create conditional fields, you must first create custom fields and then leverage such fields in forms.

If you have a grid sheet with conditional formatting, all you have to do to generate a PDF with that formatting is to go to the File menu up top and select Export and then select Export to PDF.
