Purchase Order Delete Line For Free

To delete a line using its index, use the following statement: DELETE itab [INDEX idx].

The only way to remove the unwanted line is to populate it, save the purchase order, then Cancel the line. As a result, this PO with a canceled line goes to the vendor causing confusion.

You revise purchase orders when you want to change information, such as the quantity or the vendor, on a purchase order. A purchase order must be in a status of Approved (APPR) or In Progress (INPRG) before it can be revised. You click Select Action > Revise PO to create a revision of the purchase order.

You can delete a Purchase Order either from the List View or from the PO details page.

You can change any information contained in a draft purchase order. Once a purchase order has been issued or receipted, none of the financial information it contains can be changed.

A PO line cannot be deleted if: It is attached to a PO and has been sent to a vendor (if the PO has not been sent, the PO line can be removed from the PO and then deleted). It is the only POL in a PO, and one of the PO line resources was received or activated (even if the PO line is in review)

A purchase order can be deleted if it is no longer required, as long as no inventory has been received, it has not been marked as paid and it has not been marked as invoiced. If you wish to keep the order then you can create a new purchase order status for cancelled orders and place it on that status.

You delete purchase requisitions by clicking the relevant purchase requisition items and then choosing the Delete PR button. For security reasons, you have to confirm a security warning in a popup before deleting.

Click the Purchase tab in the header pane to open the PO List View page. Click on the PO you wish to cancel. Click on the Actions Menu on the top of the PO Details Page. Click on Cancel this PO from the drop-down list under Actions Menu.
