Some people may come out of the test feeling nervous or unhappy with how they did but end up scoring very well. You should only seriously consider canceling an LSAT score if you feel like you completely flunked the exam.

If you're worried about losing your LSAT scores, don't sweat it. That LSAT score from the exam you crushed a few months ago will be kept by LSAC for five years after your test date. So, if your test date is June 8, 2023, your score will be removed from LSAC on June 8, 2028.

Law schools will not see if you withdraw online from the LSAT prior to the official administration. Law schools will, however, see if you cancel a score after you take the test.

You will need to hold up each of these items to your webcam during the security check-in procedure, so the proctor can verify they are unmarked. The proctor will check both sides of each sheet of paper. You are also allowed to use a pencil and an eraser.

To be eligible to take the Test, each Candidate must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on the date that such Candidate registers for the Test (?Minimum Age Requirement?). Any Candidate who does not satisfy the Minimum Age Requirement is ineligible to register for and/or take the Test.

Beginning with the August 2023 LSAT, most test takers will have the option of whether to take the test at home in an online, live, remotely proctored format or in-person at a digital testing center. Valid score cancellation requests are irreversible and cannot be rescinded. Once your score is released, it becomes a permanent part of your record, and you will not be permitted to cancel that score unless you are a first-time test taker who has signed up for LSAT Score Preview.

If it has been more than five years since you took the LSAT, that score won't be usable if you are trying to apply now. You cannot take the LSAT more than 7 times over the course of your entire lifetime.

If you took the LSAT: Beginning the day after the test, you may cancel your score on the LSAT Status page of your LSAC.org account. This option will only be available to you within six calendar days after the test. The deadline to cancel your score online will be p.m. (ET) on the sixth day after your LSAT date.

Canceling Your LSAT Score It depends. Admissions officers understand that bad days can and do happen, and they generally won't look askance at a single score cancellation. Most of them remain agnostic in that situation. However, if you cancel it a second or a third time, at best you start looking like a flake.
