You can use grouping keys to group together the open items of a customer or vendor that should be paid together. A grouping key is used for example during loan management, when automatic debit at the vendor is carried out separately ing to loan numbers.

The payment medium format controls how payment orders and debit memo orders to the bank are created. The specifications (published by the banks or the central banking committees) of the formats serve as the basis for definition of payment medium formats.

There are two ways to issue outgoing payments in SAP. The first and most commonly used way is to use automatic payments via Transaction F110. The payment method setup supports only three payment means: Check, Bank Transfer, and Bill of Exchange (in specific localizations). You can select the other two payment means, Credit Card and Cash, when specifying the details of manual payments in the Payment Means window.

When paying open supplier line items, you select the open items that you want to pay through the Manage Supplier Line Items app and create the payment to initiate the payment run. The payment information is automatically filled out. The open items clear when the payment run completes successfully.

Single payment for marked item When this flag is set, all items, for which the payment method thus flagged has explicitly been entered, are paid separately. If the payment method is not specified explicitly, but instead selected from the by the payment program, you can pay several items at the same time.
