Form Editor Audit Trail Online For Free

An audit trail (also called audit log) is a security-relevant chronological record, set of records, and/or destination and source of records that provide documentary evidence of the sequence of activities that have affected at any time a specific operation, procedure, or event.

The first step is to search the audit log and then export the results in a comma-separated value (CSV) file to your local computer. Run an audit log search and revise the search criteria if necessary until you have the desired results. On the search results page, select Export.

An audit trail should include the information needed to establish what events occurred and what person or system caused them. That event record would then have a time-stamp for the event, the user ID associated with it, the program or command that initiated the event, and the result.

Create a Data Extract activity in Automation Studio, Provide the details and Select the Extract Type. Choose either Audit Trail Activity Log or Audit Trail Access Log. Review the activity Summary and click Finish, repeat this task to create another audit trail task.

To enable Audit Trail, in Setup, select Security | Security Settings, and check Enable Audit Logging Data Collection.

How do I download audit trail logs? Navigate to Settings > Groups & Social Profiles. You can also access the logs from Settings > Roles & Team Members if you're on the Advanced Plan. Click Export Logs. Select the date range. Click Export. Your CSV file will download.

To enable Audit Trail, in Setup, select Security | Security Settings, and check Enable Audit Logging Data Collection. Note Audit Trail data is available only after enabling.

To download an audit trail: Click the Document Portal tab. Go to the document you want the audit trail from, and click the menu button in the Actions column. Select Request audit trail.
