The initial is a marking on the end of the page. For physical documentation, it is done by ink. Much like a signature, the initial is not something generic but rather, exclusive to the individual using it. It's a small personalisation to acknowledge you have read the page and agreed to the terms on it.

After the beta stage of software development comes the release candidates (abbreviated RC). There can be one or more of these candidates, and they are normally called RC 1, RC 2, RC 3, etc. The release candidate is very close to what will actually go out as a feature complete 'release'. The final stage is a 'release'.

The initials should be in ink and written by your hand. They can be in either print or cursive but should be unique to you. If adding your initials to a small change in a contract, be sure to add them in the margin next to the updated information.

I would suggest you go to File > Options > General > Initials, set the initials that you want. Then you would find the initials on emails as you set.

Click the ?Insert? tab if it is not already showing. Click the ?Text Box? button and choose ?Simple Text Box? from the fly-down menu. Word inserts a text box onto the page. Click inside the placeholder text and type your initials.

Thanks for your understanding. Currently the initials of the Teams profile are based on the user display name in Office 365. It cannot be modified in Teams.

Try it! Sign in to office.com/signin with your Microsoft 365 for business. Select your profile picture. Select My profile. Select Update profile. Update the information you want, such as About me, Projects, and more. Note: To keep some information private, select the globe. and then select Only you can see this.
