Fix Date Document For Free

Change Folder Date UI is straightforward, allowing all types of users the opportunity to use it. Select your files or folder for modification and choose date/time, etc., and hit the change button on the popup.

If you want to change the created date on a PDF, you can do so with the ?Remove Properties? feature. Right-click the identical PDF file and select ?Properties.? In the Details tab you will see that the old ?Date created? information has been changed to the current date and time.

Insert the date and time a document was created, last printed, or... Click where you want to insert the date or time. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Quick Parts, and then click Field. In the Categories box, select Date and Time. In the Field names box, select CreateDate, PrintDate, or SaveDate.

Click the Office button, click Prepare, and click Properties. In the Properties pane, click the Document Properties text in the upper left corner and click Advanced Properties. In the dialog that pops up, click the Statistics tab to see the Created date.

Click the Change Time/Attributes button (indicated below). A new window will open with details of what properties you can change. Enable the checkbox next to 'Created' and set the exact date and time that you want to set as the file's creation date.

Display the current date and time in a date picker Click the Data tab. In the Data type box, click Date and Time (dateTime). Click Format. In the Date and Time Format dialog box, in the Display the time like this list, click the option that you want, and then click OK.

Saving Files If you only want to change the file date so that it reflects the current time, you can open the file and use the Save command to change the modified date to the current system time.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible. You can view certain and change certain file attributes in File Explorer, but you can't change the last viewed, edited, or modified dates.
