Average school sending times are within 2 business days from when Parchment notifies them. Please note: Sending times vary by school.

Click the download icon in the Transcript Form column next to each school you listed and print each form. Contact the registrar at each institution you attended and request one transcript be sent to DICAS. You only need to submit one transcript from each school regardless of the number of programs you're applying to.

If requesting transcripts to be mailed, allow up to 15 business days for USPS domestic delivery and up to 30 business days for USPS international airmail delivery. If you need faster delivery, order a PDF or request FedEx delivery.

For corrected, updated, or final transcripts, please have the issuing institution mail your official transcripts/academic records directly to LSAC in a sealed school envelope with a stamp or seal across the sealed flap of the envelope.

How Does it Work? Once VMCAS receives all your required documentation, VMCAS will then place your application in the verification queue. Verification can take up to four (4) weeks for us to complete your verification.

Sending Transcripts by Mail Contact the registrar at each institution you attended and request one transcript be sent to DICAS. Provide the registrar with the following items: DICAS Transcript ID Form. Ask the registrar to attach it to your official transcripts.

Please remember that institutions can take 4-6 weeks to process incoming transcripts and make the necessary entries in their computer systems. During this time, your school may not be able to confirm that they received your transcript.

It depends how far your school is from your prospective institution and how they are able to receive it. If the school accepts electronic transcripts, it may take 24 to 48 hours. If a hard copy is required, it can take a few days to be received. If the schools are on each coast, it could take over a week.

Official transcript should be submitted by your counselor. If the counselor submits online, the transcript should be attached to your school forms. Otherwise, transcripts should be sent directly to the schools to which you are applying. Please contact each admissions office for the exact address or procedure.
