To use the Eraser, choose Tool Eraser. The cursor turns into an eraser symbol. Using the Eraser tool, you can remove annotations by clicking them.

Remove a bullet character In the Bullets And Numbering dialog box, select Bullets from the List Type menu. Select the bullet character you want to remove, and click Delete. (The first preset bullet character cannot be deleted.)

Select the text that you want to return to its default formatting. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click Clear All Formatting. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click Clear All Formatting. On the Message tab, in the Basic Text group, click Clear All Formatting.

Convert list bullets or numbers to text From the Paragraph panel menu, choose Convert Numbering To Text or Convert Bullets To Text. Right-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS) the selection, and then choose Convert Numbering To Text or Convert Bullets To Text.

Click the arrow on the right hand side of the Bullets button on the Home tab of the ribbon. Right-click the bullet that you want to delete, and select Remove from the context menu.
