In order for transcripts to be considered official they must be: Printed on security paper directly and/or displaying an official raised seal from the college or university, per the institutions standard practice.

Genuine degrees are embossed and have a gold seal and if you bring the certificate against a bright light, there should be a hologram watermark visible.

It includes your enrollment history, grades that you got, credits earned and attempted and average of grade-point. The classes would be arranged in chronological format by the enrollment semester or the quarter. The grade-point average may be given individually for each quarter, but total cumulative average is given.

Select Design > Watermark. (In Word 2010 or 2007, select Page Layout > Watermark.) Select Remove Watermark.

Updated 10/08/2021 AM. Hard-copy transcripts and other academic records are considered "official" when they arrive in a sealed, stamped, official envelope with the seal and any other security feature intact.

If printed, the words VOID VOID VOID will appear to indicate that the paper copy is not an official institutional document.

From the main menu on the top of the screen, select Tools > Edit PDF. On the editing toolbar, click on the Watermark option and then, choose Remove. A pop-up message will appear to confirm whether you want to permanently remove the watermark. Click on Yes and you'll have a watermark-free PDF document.

An unofficial and an official document generally contain the same information. However, an official document has a couple of features that an unofficial document does not.
