In the bottom left corner, you can see the activity of your Instagram highlight. Click on it to see the number of views and the list of individual users who have viewed your Instagram highlights.

For Instagram Highlights, the platform does let users know when someone takes a look. Highlights work much like Stories in that regard. However, note that you can only see this audience data for 48 hours. After that, the data vanishes.

You can't see who views your Instagram profile, but you can see who views stories and videos. For Instagram stories, you can see exactly who viewed your story while it's still live. For video posts, you can only see the total number of views and users who've liked the posts.

Get highlighting Tap the + and you will see all of the Stories you have posted over the years. Select the story or stories you want to group together into a highlights reel, then tap next. Choose a cover photo and enter a story name for your highlight, then tap Add (iPhone) or Done (Android).

Instagram Highlights turn your ?ephemeral? content (i.e. Stories which are hidden after 24 hours) into permanent content that can always be accessed from your account. When you create a highlight or add a new story to an existing highlight, your friends and followers are in no way notified.

Someone cannot see that you viewed their Instagram highlight if their story has been up for more than 48 hours. However, they will be able to see that you viewed their highlight if they posted the story before 48 hours (e.g. 12 hours ago).

Steps to see who saw your highlights: Navigate your profile on Instagram. Tap the icon of the Highlights if you want information. Tap on the 'Seen by' button in the bottom-left corner of the screen to see the list of people who saw your highlights.

The people who have permission to view your Instagram Stories Highlights depends on the privacy settings you've set for your own account. If your profile is public, anyone can check out your Highlights at any time. If it's private, that privilege is reserved for your followers.

Method #2: Hiding Instagram Highlights by Settings Go to Instagram -> Settings -> Privacy. Scroll down and select Story. Select Hide Story From. The same interface will be as you got while selecting Close Friends. Enter the Names or select viewers (who should not see your highlights).

Follow these steps to create a new Highlight from your Instagram profile: Go to your profile and tap the +New button (the big plus sign). Pick the Stories you want to add to your new Highlight.Tap Next and name your new Highlight. Choose your Highlight cover, and tap Done.
