Certify Required Field Transcript For Free

The Florida Automated System for Transferring Educational Records (the "FASTER System") provides school districts, state colleges, universities and technical centers with the means to exchange transcripts and other student records electronically.

Teachers employed in public schools, including charter public schools, complete the requirements through their district. If the fingerprint screen comes back clear, applicants receive a temporary certificate within 30 days.

Official transcripts are issued in portrait format and contain the seal of the university and the signature of the University Registrar. Unofficial transcripts are available to current students via self-service from the Student Information System. (See Viewing Unofficial Transcript.)

Senders log on to their ETX secure account, upload the transcript file(s), and use the recipient's unique ETX ID when sending files via ETX. Each time a file is successfully uploaded to ETX, the sender receives a confirmation email. Recipients receive an email whenever files are posted to their ETX account.

Electronic transcripts received by email are only considered official when they are sent directly by the National Student Clearinghouse. eTranscripts cannot be requested by third parties on behalf of a student.

An official transcript is a complete representation of a student's academic record. It includes all courses attempted at their undergraduate institution, including those withdrawn from and those repeated. It also includes a summary of all transfer credits accepted by their undergraduate institution.

Official transcripts are a requirement for most documents issued by the Commission. In order for transcripts to be considered official they must be: Printed on security paper directly and/or displaying an official raised seal from the college or university, per the institutions standard practice.

What is meant by official or officially certified transcripts and degree certificates? Official transcripts and/or degree certificates are those issued directly by the institution at which the coursework was completed or the degree earned, holding original seals and/or stamps and/or signatures.

How to Become a Teacher in Florida. Public school teachers in Florida are required to obtain teacher certification before leading a classroom. In order to be eligible for certification, the Sunshine State requires all teachers to hold a bachelor's degree and complete a state-approved teacher education program.

Note: the digital transcript service SPEEDE only sends documents to the Undergraduate Admissions office. Once you receive confirmation that your SPEEDE transcript has been downloaded, please forward the notification to gradapp@mailbox.sc.edu so we can request your transcript to be sent to the Graduate School.
