Delete or restore a document Select Documents in the navigation menu. Select the document name. Select the delete icon.

Note: For audit and security purposes, when a bill is deleted in Bill.com, it isn't completely deleted, but moved to inactive status. Inactive bills can't be paid unless they are reactivated. To deactivate a bill, you must have Manage bill/document permissions.

Article Detail Select Bills in the navigation menu. Select All Bills tab. Select Filter, select Active under Bill status, select Inactive, and select Apply. Select the bill's invoice number. Select Undelete.

For security and auditing purposes, invoices are never permanently deleted from your Bill.com account. You can view inactive invoices by selecting Show Inactive Invoices at the bottom of any invoice list on a customer record, or on the invoices page in the menu, using the filters available.

To void a payment, your role must have Pay permissions, and you must be a verified user on the bank account originally used for the payment. You must be logged in to the desktop website to void payments, you cannot void payments in the mobile app.

Restore a deleted folder Select Documents in the navigation menu. Select Folders. Select Show Inactive Folders at the bottom of the folders list. Select the correct folder from the list. Select Undelete.
