By deleting particular words or clauses, the parties have removed them from the contract for any and all purposes, and considering deletions would violate the general prohibition on considering previous negotiations.

A contract amendment allows the parties to make a mutually agreed-upon change to an existing contract. An amendment can add to an existing contract, delete from it, or change parts of it. The original contract remains in place, only with some terms altered by way of the amendment.

To delete a Contract, click Del next to the Contract on the Contracts list page. A Contract can also be deleted by clicking Delete on the Contract detail page.
