The Wyoming Affidavit to Allow Service by Registered or Certified Mail is a document used by parties to a legal action in Wyoming to agree to accept service of process (such as a summons or complaint) by registered or certified mail. There are two types of Wyoming Affidavit to Allow Service by Registered or Certified Mail: the Wyoming Affidavit to Allow Service by Registered Mail and the Wyoming Affidavit to Allow Service by Certified Mail. Both forms require the signature of the party to be served, or their authorized representative, and a notary public. The party being served must state their full name, address, and details of the legal action for which they are being served. The Wyoming Affidavit to Allow Service by Registered Mail must also include the return receipt requested number issued by the post office when the affidavit is filed. The Wyoming Affidavit to Allow Service by Certified Mail must also include the date and time the affidavit was mailed and a copy of the return receipt. Once the affidavit is filed and accepted, the party being served has waived their right to be served process by other means.
