Wyoming Correction to Articles is the process of making changes to the articles of incorporation of a Wyoming business entity. This can include changing the name of the entity, the registered office, the number of authorized shares, or the purpose of the entity. There are two types of Wyoming Correction to Articles: an Amendment to Articles of Incorporation and a Restated Articles of Incorporation. An Amendment to Articles of Incorporation must be filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State to make changes to the existing articles of incorporation. A Restated Articles of Incorporation must also be filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State, and it involves filing a new set of articles that replace the existing ones. Both processes require a filing fee.
