A Washington Order on Motion for Parenting Plan or Residential Schedule (within 2 years of Final Parentage Order) is a court order that is used to help establish a parenting plan or residential schedule for children in the state of Washington, within two years of a Final Parentage Order. This order helps to determine the legal rights of the parents and the best interests of the children with regard to issues such as custody, visitation, and decision-making authority. There are two types of Washington Order on Motion for Parenting Plan or Residential Schedule (within 2 years of Final Parentage Order): 1) Temporary Order; and 2) Final Order. A temporary order is an order that is made when the court needs to make a decision that will remain in effect until a final order is issued. A Final Order is a permanent order that is issued after the court has considered all the evidence and made a final decision on the parenting plan or residential schedule.
