Washington Service Accepted (WSA) is a service provided by the Washington State Department of Licensing, that allows individuals to certify that a document has been accepted by the Washington State government. This service can be used to certify such documents as contracts, deeds, liens, powers of attorney, and other documents. There are two types of Washington Service Accepted — "Washington Service Accepted Plus," and "Washington Service Accepted Standard." Washington Service Accepted Plus is an advanced service that provides additional authentication and signature verification services. Washington Service Accepted Standard is the basic service that allows documents to be accepted by the state government. Both types of Washington Service Accepted require the submission of a completed form and supporting documents to the Department of Licensing. The documents accepted by the state will then be marked with a unique identifier that verifies that the document has been accepted by the state.
