Washington Judgment is a court-ordered resolution of a financial dispute between two or more parties in the state of Washington. A judgment is a legally binding court decision, and is usually the result of a lawsuit or other legal action. There are two types of judgments in Washington: money judgments and non-monetary judgments. Money judgments are awarded when a court has determined that a party owes another party an amount of money. Non-monetary judgments establish a right or set of obligations between two or more parties, such as a divorce decree or an order to repair property. Once a judgment is entered, the losing party is obligated to pay the amount or fulfill the terms of the judgment. If the judgment is not paid or fulfilled, the court can order enforcement measures, such as wage garnishment, liens, or seizures of property.
