Vermont Notice of Elections and Or Waivers By Spouse is a document used by married couples in the state of Vermont to make a formal declaration regarding how they will handle the division of property in the event of a divorce. This document is used to specify the method of division, such as using a qualified retirement plan, a qualified domestic relations order, or a statutory right of election. It also allows a spouse to waive their rights to any marital property and assets.
