The Utah Amendment To Articles of Organization (LLC) is a document used to make changes to an existing Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the state of Utah. It is filed with the Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Code to effect the changes or amendments to the Articles of Organization. Common amendments include changing the registered agent, changing the name of the LLC, changing the management structure, or adding additional members or managers. There are two types of Utah Amendments to Articles of Organization (LLC): the Limited Liability Company Amendment and the Foreign Limited Liability Company Amendment. The Limited Liability Company Amendment is used to make changes to an existing Utah LLC, while the Foreign Limited Liability Company Amendment is used to make changes to an existing LLC that has been registered in another state but is now registering to do business in Utah.
