The Texas Attorney for Service form is a document used by Texas attorneys providing services to individuals or entities. It is used to provide an attorney's contact information to serve as the legal representative for an individual or entity. This form is usually used to receive legal notices, documents, and other communication from courts, government agencies, or other legal entities. There are three types of Texas Attorney for Service forms: Form 12,900 for attorneys who are in good standing with the State Bar of Texas; Form 12.901 for attorneys who are not in good standing with the State Bar of Texas; and Form 12.902 for attorneys who are registered with the State Bar of Texas but have not been admitted to a particular court. The form must be completed and filed with the appropriate county or district clerk's office.
