Pennsylvania Notice of Appeal from Summary Criminal Conviction is a legal document used in the state of Pennsylvania to appeal a summary criminal conviction. It is a document used to initiate the appeals process and it must be filed within 30 days of the conviction in order to begin the appeals process. The Notice of Appeal identifies the lower court that issued the summary conviction, identifies the appellant, and identifies the case for which the appeal is being sought. There are two types of Notice of Appeal from Summary Criminal Conviction in Pennsylvania: a Notice of Appeal from a Summary Conviction entered in a Magisterial District Court, and a Notice of Appeal from a Summary Conviction entered in a Common Pleas Court.
