Oregon READ SECTION B is a reading program for adults sponsored by the Oregon State Library. It helps adults who are having difficulty reading or who are learning English as a second language. This program provides a variety of materials and services to help adults improve their reading skills. These include: free online resources, such as e-books and audiobooks; in-person classes and workshops; and one-on-one tutoring. Oregon READ SECTION B also offers literacy assessments, book clubs, and community outreach events. Participants in this program can choose from a wide range of reading materials, including classic literature, contemporary fiction, and non-fiction. All the materials are carefully selected to ensure that they are appropriate for adults with varying levels of reading ability.
