The Oklahoma Provisional Interpreter Application is a process for individuals who seek to become certified interpreters in the state of Oklahoma. There are three types of Oklahoma Provisional Interpreter Applications, each with its own set of requirements: 1. Provisional Interpreter (PI): PI's must complete an approved interpreter training program and pass the Oklahoma Interpreter Proficiency Assessment (IPA). 2. Limited Provisional Interpreter (LPI): Luis must pass the IPA and have either a high school diploma or GED. 3. Community Interpreter (CI): CIs must pass the IPA and have at least two years of experience interpreting in a community setting. To apply for an Oklahoma Provisional Interpreter Application, applicants must submit a notarized application, two passport-style photos, a copy of the interpreter training program certificate, and a copy of the IPA results. Depending on the type of application, applicants may also need to provide additional documentation. Once the application and supporting documents have been reviewed, applicants will be notified of their application status.
