An Oklahoma Affidavit in Form Paupers (IFP) is a legal document used in the state of Oklahoma to allow a person to file a lawsuit or legal action without having to pay the court filing fees. It is also known as a fee waiver. To qualify, the applicant must demonstrate to the court that they are unable to pay the court fees due to their financial situation. There are two main types of Oklahoma IFP: the In Form Paupers Affidavit and the In Form Paupers Order. The Affidavit requires the applicant to submit an affidavit attesting to their financial inability to pay court fees. The Order requires the court to review the applicant's financial situation and determine whether they are eligible for a fee waiver. Both documents must be signed by the applicant, the court clerk, and a judge in order to be valid.
