Oklahoma Appointment or Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office is a process by which a business entity registered in Oklahoma can select or change its designated Registered Agent and/or Registered Office. This process is also known as the “Oklahoma Statement of Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office.” It is a filing with the Oklahoma Secretary of State that must be completed and submitted in order for a business to legally appoint or change its Registered Agent and/or Registered Office. The two types of Oklahoma Appointment or Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office are: 1. Initial Appointment of Registered Agent/Registered Office: This is when a business first registers in Oklahoma and appoints its initial Registered Agent and/or Registered Office. 2. Change of Registered Agent/Registered Office: This is when a business already registered in Oklahoma changes its Registered Agent and/or Registered Office. The filing of an Oklahoma Appointment or Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office must include the following information: • Business name • Business type • Current Registered Agent and/or Registered Office • New Registered Agent and/or Registered Office • Signature • Date • Filing fee Once the filing is completed and submitted to the Oklahoma Secretary of State, the change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office will be officially enacted.
