Grand larceny UV is a felony offense and involves taking a motor vehicle with the intent to permanently deprive the owner of the vehicle. Petite's larceny UV is a misdemeanor offense and involves taking a motor vehicle without the intent to permanently deprive the owner of the vehicle.
