New Mexico Order Admitting Attorney Pro HAC Vice is a document issued by the state of New Mexico that grants an out-of-state attorney the authority to practice law in the state on a single case. The Order grants an attorney who is not licensed to practice in the state the ability to appear in court and represent a client in a specific case. The Order is granted by the court in which the case is being heard and must be approved by the state bar association. There are two types of New Mexico Order Admitting Attorney Pro HAC Vice: the Limited Pro HAC Vice Order and the General Pro HAC Vice Order. A Limited Pro HAC Vice Order applies to one case only and is issued by the court in which the case is being heard. A General Pro HAC Vice Order is granted by the state bar association and allows an attorney to practice in the state on multiple cases.
