The North Dakota Repetitive Motion Questionnaire (NORM) is a self-reported questionnaire used to assess pain and disability associated with repetitive motion disorders. It is a validated tool designed and developed by the North Dakota State University. The NORM consists of two parts: a pre-test and a post-test. The pre-test measures the presence or absence of symptoms related to repetitive motion disorders, while the post-test measures the intensity of the symptoms. The questionnaire has five subscales: Pain, Disability, Job Satisfaction, Quality of Life, and Social/Family. The NORM is available in both English and Spanish versions, and can be downloaded from the North Dakota State University website. There are two types of North Dakota Repetitive Motion Questionnaire: the short version, which consists of 25 questions, and the long version, which consists of 68 questions.
