The Missouri Request for Wage Determination (RWD) is a form used by employers in Missouri to determine the minimum wage rate for employees. It is issued by the Missouri Department of Labor & Industrial Relations and is required by the state's Minimum Wage Law. The RWD is used to determine the appropriate wage rate for different types of employees, including tipped employees, exempt and non-exempt employees, and minors. There are three types of Missouri Request for Wage Determination: 1. Basic RWD — issued to employers with fewer than 25 employees and is used to determine the applicable minimum wage rate. 2. Special RWD — issued to employers with 25 or more employees and is used to determine the applicable minimum wage rate for tipped employees. 3. Non-Exempt RWD — issued to employers to determine the applicable minimum wage rate for non-exempt employees.
