Michigan ADV is an advanced driver vehicle (ADV) program offered by the state of Michigan to promote safe driving. It is a voluntary program that provides drivers with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their driving skills, and provides an incentive to be a responsible driver. The program consists of three levels of certification: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. Level 1 is a basic driver safety course that teaches drivers the basics of defensive driving and safe driving practices. Level 2 is an intermediate driver safety course that covers more advanced driving techniques such as accident prevention, hazard recognition, and emergency vehicle operations. Level 3 is an advanced driver safety course that focuses on vehicle control, accident prevention, and advanced driving techniques. In addition to the three levels of certification, Michigan ADV also offers a range of additional resources and services such as a mentorship program, community outreach programs, and driver education classes.
