The Florida Statement of Change of Registered Office or Registered Agent or Both is a document that is filed with the Florida Department of State in order to effectuate a change in the registered office or registered agent or both of a domestic or foreign entity that is registered to do business in the State of Florida. Depending on the type of entity, there are two types of Florida Statement of Change of Registered Office or Registered Agent or Both: 1) The Statement of Change of Registered Office or Agent or Both of a Domestic Entity; and 2) The Statement of Change of Registered Office or Agent or Both of a Foreign Entity. The Statement of Change of Registered Office or Agent or Both of a Domestic Entity is used to change the registered office address of a domestic entity, change the registered agent of a domestic entity, or change both the registered office address and the registered agent of a domestic entity. The Statement of Change of Registered Office or Agent or Both of a Foreign Entity is used to change the registered office address of a foreign entity, change the registered agent of a foreign entity, or change both the registered office address and the registered agent of a foreign entity. In order to make the changes effective, the Statement of Change of Registered Office or Agent or Both must be filed with the Florida Department of State, along with the appropriate filing fee. Once the document is accepted, the changes will be reflected in the records of the Florida Department of State.
