Whether or not you have a bill of sale, you can transfer ownership of a vehicle in a private party sale with a notarized vehicle title. The MVD has a simple Arizona vehicle bill of sale that you can download and complete.
The course is required for at least one OHV owner per vehicle for registrations and renewals taking effect between Jan. 1, 2025, and June 1, 2027.
Notarization is not required on the Arizona title.
Mandatory safety course: Starting in 2025, OHV drivers will need to complete a certified safety course. The Arizona Game and Fish Department will offer these courses, which require operators to prove they are competent at controlling their OHVs. For additional information about the new course, visit ADOT's website.
Equipment Requirements. What equipment is required to operate my OHV in Arizona? Helmet: the best equipment for preventing a brain injury. A properly fitted and fastened DOT approved helmet is required for those under 18 who operate or ride an OHV.
Do NOT shoot from an OHV. It is illegal in Arizona to discharge a firearm from a motor vehicle. Use OHVs only to get to the hunting area or to haul an animal from the field.
