The purpose of the Work Study Program is the employment of students who are enrolled as undergraduate, graduate or professional students who are in need of earnings from employment to pursue courses of study at eligible institutions.
Work study jobs are partially funded by the federal or state government. The FWS program gives students the opportunity to work on campus or in a community service position on a part-time basis. Students may work up to 20 hours per week and receive the funds for actual hours worked from Collin College.
What are the GPA requirements? Cumulative GPAs are generated from the Admissions department. If you do not have a GPA with Collin College, the system will generate a GPA from your previous high school, college or university. All applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5.
