Is on-campus housing guaranteed? Available campus housing will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Campus Apartment applications are accepted year round for non-Freshman university students. The Residence Hall Contract is available for all student levels beginning March 1.
Activities are not permitted from p.m. to a.m., without prior authorization (see Section IV(B) below). Note that the Regents Non-Affiliates Regulations imposes a curfew on entering or remaining on University property between midnight and a.m.

Choosing Your Roommate(s) If you met someone during Highlander Orientation or know someone who will be attending UCR, you can specify a roommate on your Housing contract. Otherwise, roommate assignments are made using the Housing Contract's personal preferences section.
How will I know if I have received a space in the Residence Halls? All single, first-year freshmen students who meet all Housing deadlines are guaranteed a space in the Residence Halls.
USC Housing will make every effort to honor your request. but cannot guarantee that it will be fulfilled. Once assigned, you may no longer search for roommates. If you do not make a request for a specific person, you will be assigned a roommate based on gender and building assignment.
