MDC Students, register for courses by following these steps: Log in to MDConnect. Select 'Enroll' and choose the term you wish to register for. Under 'Find Classes', click the 'Search' button. Select the criteria for the class search (e.g., Subject = ENC, Course Number = 1101).
Florida Student Assistance Program (FSAG) Student must be a Florida Resident. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Eligible non-Citizen. Must be a Pell grant recipient. Demonstrates exceptional financial need (i.e. they have a low EFC/SAI) Enrollment of at least half-time status (6 credit hours)
The Welcome Back Sharks Scholarship offers financial resources to students who have not enrolled at Miami Dade College after high school graduation, during the past three semesters. The scholarship pays for the in-state tuition/fees.
Have a cumulative high school weighted GPA of 3.50 or above. Students must be admitted to MDC and registered for 12 or more credits for the Fall semester. Be enrolled in an A.A. or A.S. degree program. Complete the 2025-2026 Federal Financial Aid Application (FAFSA).
Florida Student Assistance Program (FSAG) The Florida Student Assistance Grant is a state funded need-based award program offering grants to first degree seeking undergraduate students attending public Florida institutions. Awards range from $200-$2610 per academic year, based on the availability of funds.
