What is EARN Maryland? - Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning. EARN Maryland is a state-funded, competitive workforce development grant program that is industry-led, regional in focus, and a proven strategy for helping businesses cultivate the skilled workforce they need to compete.

The program encourages noncustodial party (NCP) to make consistent child support payments by: Reducing state-owed arrears by half if the NCP makes full child support payments for a year. Eliminating the balance owed if the (NCP) makes full child support payments for two years.

Employment, Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) Included in EARN are services especially designed to meet the needs of out-of-school pregnant and parenting youth between the ages of 18 to 22, as well as non-assistance custodial or non-custodial fathers.

Maryland Success Grant is awarded to full time Maryland undergraduate and graduate students with a Student Aid Index (SAI) up to $9,999 from the current FAFSA. Students must also be meeting the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy for financial aid eligibility. This is a one-time only non-renewable grant.

The Maryland Small Grants Program (MSGP) is intended to help smaller nonprofits more easily and efficiently apply for funding. Maryland organizations with an annual budget under $3 million a year are eligible to apply for an initial grant of up to $50K for two years ($100K total).
