Failed/non-passing grades: For purposes of this policy, a “failed/non-passing” grade is defined as a Withdrawal (W), Incomplete (I), In Progress (IP), No Pass (NP), Report Delay (RD) or Failing (F) grade. If you're on the Dean's List, congrats! That means that you took 12 or more units that semester, and earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher. We'll note that in your academic record, and you might consider including it on your resume or applications, because that's pretty awesome.
For a letter grade, D- or above in a course is a passing grade at Marshall. For a P/NP grade, C- is a passing grade. However, in order to graduate, you will need to have a major GPA of 2.0 and a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
