The vessel must display the boat number and expirations decal as stated below. Both port and starboard sides of the bow must display the registration number.
The license number issued to your boat appears on the license card and must be displayed as follows: • Numbers must be placed on each side of the forward half of the hull (see illustration on page 8). Remove the expired decals first, before applying the new ones.
The registration number and validation decal must be displayed as follows. Number must be painted, applied as a decal, or otherwise affixed to both sides of the bow. Number must read from left to right on both sides of the bow. Number must be in at least three-inch-high BLOCK letters (no script).
Both sides of the forward half of the vessel must display the vessel's registration number and the validation decal. The registration number should be in bold, block-style letters that are at least three inches high and should be placed in a contrasting color to the background for clear visibility.
