FAQ

Keeper Rules for League Manager Leagues Only In a keeper league you are allowed to retain as few players or as many players as the league manager selects, from the previous season, to remain on your roster for the upcoming season. When creating your League Manager league, simply select keepers in the settings.

Evaluating Your Keepers Each Season Consider factors such as age, injury history and team context when making your decisions. It's also essential to weigh the costs of keeping a player, such as draft pick sacrifices or salary cap penalties, against their potential value.

Draft Pick Trades let managers give up a draft position next season for a player on another team or swap draft positions with another manager.

Draft strategy in keeper leagues differs vastly from redraft formats. Early rounds should focus on securing cornerstone players who can anchor your team for multiple seasons. In later rounds, targeting high-upside rookies and second-year players can unearth future stars.

Keeper leagues allow Team Managers to keep players on their roster over multiple seasons without having to redraft them. Keepers are only available in League Manager leagues. Team Managers may select as few players or as many players as the league creator selected during league creation.

What are the best positions in a keeper league? In keeper leagues, wide receivers and running backs usually carry higher value because each team has to start two at each position.

If you keep the player with the most FPs from last season, you pick 12th. If you pick the player with the fewest FPs last year, you pick first. All keepers are assigned to the last pick of the draft so no need to worry about penalties.

If you're talking about one keeper and a more or less standard league, selecting a QB is probably unwise, unless it's Luck or Rodgers, and even then it's a gamble.

As far as who to take, take the best player available regardless of position. Make a combined draft board and take the guy at the top of your list. Don't force positions or try and plan to have choices of some position with your second pick. No way you can bank on that.
