Neighborhood Code Compliance is responsible for addressing nuisance and property standard violations to ensure a safe and healthful environment for the community. Neighborhood Code is divided into seven (7) Community Code Districts with offices throughout the City.

All new Code inspectors must go through a 6-week training course to master certain key concepts in their perspective discipline. After these courses are taught, the inspectors must pass a state exam to become licensed.
