To add or delete names from a deed you will need to complete and record a new deed. Forms are available from your attorney or from a legal stationery store.

The best way is to create a new deed listing all of the owners as “joint tenants with rights of survivorship.” If you simply add someone to your current deed, they become a co-owner, but they may not have rights of survivorship, and the property may still need to go through probate.
Suffolk offers up to 75 credits in transfer. If you're admitted as a transfer student, you'll receive an official credit evaluation and program evaluation with your letter of acceptance.
Whatever the reason, you will need to retain an attorney, experienced in real estate, to draft a new deed conveying (i.e., transferring) your home to yourself and the person you wish to add to your title. In addition to the deed, your attorney will also need to prepare transfer tax returns.

Transfer acceptance rates for top schools are often half the freshman acceptance rate. That said, many public universities have higher transfer rates because they take lots of CC students from their state! Some schools even have guaranteed acceptance for CC students with a certain GPA.
