Fivio Foreign, born Maxie Lee Ryles III, is an American rapper and songwriter from Brooklyn, New York.
Fivio claims that when he first signed with Ma$e's RichFish label in 2018, $750,000 of the $1.7 million deal went directly back to the Harlem rap legend himself. "I got the 1.7," Fivio Foreign explains at the -mark in the video below.

Fivio Foreign is at the forefront of the New York drill rap movement that continues to gain steam worldwide. This new version of drill music and Fivio specifically have already captured the attention of rap's biggest artists.
Once Ma$e allegedly took his cut, Fivio was then given an advance out of the remainder of what was left from his overall deal of $1.7 million. In breaking down how he spent the advance, Fivio learned a very valuable lesson about properly handling his finances. "My advance was like $300,000," Fivio's story continues.
That same year, he signed with fellow New York rapper Mase's RichFish Records, in a joint venture with Columbia Records. Brooklyn, New York City, U.S. Ryles saw his first entries on the Billboard Hot 100 for his guest appearances on the 2020 songs "Demons" by Drake and "Zoo York" by Lil Tjay—alongside Pop Smoke.
