Description

The International Independent Contractor Agreement is a legally binding document between a contractor and a corporation, aimed at defining their working relationship. This agreement includes provisions for ownership of deliverables, payment terms, and independent contractor status, ensuring clarity on both parties' responsibilities. Key features include the contractor’s control over work hours, confidentiality clauses, and compliance with federal and state laws. The form instructs users to fill in specific details such as names, payment amounts, and addresses. It is particularly beneficial for attorneys, partners, and legal assistants who need a structured approach to establish formal relationships with independent contractors. Paralegals and associates can utilize it to ensure compliance with legal standards, while owners benefit from legal protections regarding deliverables and indemnification. The agreement also incorporates sections regarding force majeure, nondiscrimination, and arbitration, making it comprehensive for international engagements.
