CASE MANAGEMENT ORDER – CATEGORY 1 CASES The intent of this order is for the parties to complete all discovery and for the court to rule on all dispositive motions within 15 months following the filing of the complaint. This order does not alter the application of Illinois Supreme Court Rule 218 – the 60-day rule.

In order to conserve judicial resources and promote efficiency in the administration of the Circuit Court, upon motion of any party or upon the court's own motion, the Circuit Court may assign or reassign related cases to a single judge wherever it serves the convenience of interested parties and the court.

(a) At the time of the filing of the foreign judgment, the judgment creditor or his lawyer shall make and file with the circuit clerk an affidavit setting forth the name and last known post office address of the judgment debtor, and the judgment creditor.

(a) Addressing the Immigration Judge — The immigration judge should be addressed as either “Your Honor” or “Judge __.” See Chapter 4.3 (References to Parties and the Immigration Judge). The parties should stand when the immigration judge enters and exits the courtroom.
The letter should be addressed to “Honorable Immigration Judge.” • Introduce yourself, your immigration status, and address. If you are doing so in a professional capacity, letterhead is sufficient and no need to include a personal address.
Re: CLIENT NAME, A Honorable Judge: State your name, age and immigration status. State your relationship to Name. Discuss the importance of your mother/father in your life and the things that you do together or have done together in the past. Please include as many specific feelings and examples as possible.
