In Ohio, you cannot hold an Ohio driver license and Identification Card at the same time. Ohio Identification Cards are used for identification only. You cannot use this card for driving privileges. Ohio Identification Cards are valid for four (4) years, expiring on the applicant's birthday.

Enhanced licenses, unlike traditional licenses or even “Real ID” cards that will soon be required to board airplanes, have a radio chip that broadcasts an identification number that border guards can use to access personal information beyond what's printed on the license itself.
Refer to the tax return identified on the identity verification letter (Ohio IT 1040 or Ohio SD 100). The amount will be listed directly to the right of “YOUR REFUND” on the return. Enter the amount in whole dollars (no decimal places). Do not use your federal refund amount.
