There is a form that you will fill out and submit it requesting a default prove up hearing. First, Chapter 193 requires Judicial Council to provide a report to the.Rule 119.01Requirement for Motion. A prove up hearing is essentially a trial where you prove your side of the case in the absence of the other party. You can have this judgment vacated or removed. A default judgment can expedite cases in which the defendant simply fails to show up.
