If you must withdraw, you should always withdraw officially by going to your advisor or dropping the class on your student account. You should not withdraw from a class by not going to the class anymore.
I've really enjoyed your class but I am unfortunately going to have to withdraw from your class given my current course load and my academic priorities for the term. I look forward to taking a course with you in a subsequent semester. Thanks for underestanding and I hope you have a great rest of the semester!
2 answers Dropping a class is not as bad as getting a B or a C or lower in the class. It's not ideal but if you are getting all As and showing course rigor with taking your APs and signing up for more APs next year, you should be fine and this ``drop'' won't be held against you.
A student who wishes to withdraw from school must report to the appropriate office with a note from the enrolling parent and receive a clearance from that office. The withdrawal form must be signed by all of his or her teachers and required staff.
Withdrawing from the Class Check your school's deadline for withdrawal. Withdraw online through your student account. Contact the registrar's office to withdraw. Fill out your student information. Return the form.
Schedule adjustments to drop or add a course may be made during the registration period or adjustment periods (drop/add period). The College calendar, which is published in the HCC Catalog, the Student Handbook, and on the HCC website, provides the applicable deadlines.
